Gather your guilds, sharpen your weapons, and prepare for battle once more! Eden Season 3 will officially launch on March 29th! (Exact time to be announced later)

Eden Season 3 comes full of new features and content for you to dive into:
Increased Relic Rewards: Relics once again take center stage of the realm conflict, with significant rewards for those who can capture and hold relics.
Weekly Campaigns: Fight for your realm over the week to increase your rewards from the king, with scaling RvR objectives ranging from relic and keep takes, to showing your worth in fair fight skirmishes!
Frontlines: Push the Front Lines into your enemies Realms and take their relics. Utilize the new War Supplies system to fuel your Realm’s War Machine. Place down Forward Bases to quickly get back to the battle. New Battle Realm Point Tick system to reward all actions that help win battles and more!
Dynamic Missions: Timed missions dynamically created to pit similar powered players across the frontiers.
3 New Classes: The Albion Occultist, the Midgard Warlock and the Hibernia Vampiir make their debut on the battlefield!

We cannot thank you enough for all of your support and help with the beta testing over the past two months! We have been able to tweak and fix many bugs and introduce new systems thanks to your valuable feedback.

For this next month, we will focus on polishing all of the new features and cleaning up all outstanding bugs as we find them.

Season 3 FAQs:

1. What does a new season mean? Season resets allow for players to experience the rush and excitement of fresh new server, while carrying over meaningful progression. With a realm skill point cap that increases every week, players are able to start off on an even footing. What carries over? Once a character is carried over between seasons, it will be saved for all seasons going forward. This means all season 1 characters that have already carried over (even if they were never played during season 2) will carry into season 3. All season 2 characters that have reached level 50 or at least realm rank 2L4 by the end of the season will also carry over into season 3. The following will carry over from up to the last day of Season 2:
   • Realm PointsCharacter nameCrafting skills (account bound - Even if no characters in a realm carry over, you will keep your crafting for that realm)Player stats/achievements/titlesTrophies that were placed in the special vault before the end of season 2.
   What is reset? The following is reset for all characters:
   • Levels (All characters that carry over will be reset to level 1)ItemsCurrencyMoneyHousingGuild memberships and ranks will all be reverted to their ownership and ranks based on the end of Season 2 snapshot
   When do I get my realm points? Realm points from previous seasons will be awarded when a player reaches level 50. This ensures a level playing field during leveling from 1 to 50. What is the realm skill point cap? Like the two previous seasons, Season 3 will launch with Realm Skill Point caps. You will still earn your realm points, but the maximum amount of Realm Skill Points you are able to spend will be limited based on the Realm Skill Point cap release schedule. All other systems will continue to take realm rank into account (cosmetics, titles, etc).

General

• Shield Specialization: 1-handed base damage now increases by 0.5% per composite shield skill while wielding a shield in the offhand.
•  
• Charge realm ability duration decreased from 15 seconds to 12 seconds.
•  
• Paralyze 23 spec Shield rear style and Mangle 35 spec Shield side style to hit bonuses increased from none to medium (10%).
•  
• Players can now maintain up to 8 chants simultaneously, up from 2.
•  
• Bugfix: dots can now crit between 10 and 100% against players, previously 10 and 50%.
•  
• Veil Recovery now also reduces the duration of stat debuff by the same percentage.

Guilds

• The guild leader position is now unique (per account). In existing guilds, the oldest active current guild leader will have the position by default.
•  
• When a new guild leader is promoted, all previous ones are demoted.
•  
• Guild leaders not active on any leader character will be demoted after 30 days.
•  
• Added ‘/gc selfinvite’ and ‘/gc selfpromote’ commands to invite/promote guild characters on your own account (requires regular permissions)

Cabalist

• Cabalist 46 Spirit spec Banish Soul 8s Body/Spirit/Energy debuff lowered to 44 spec.
•  
• Cabalist 44 Spirit spec Exploit Flaw pet-damage-add lowered to 43 spec.

Cleric, Druid, Shaman

• Yellow AoE SC and DQ are now able to reach the same value as buff potions.
•  
• AoE yellow D/Q increased value from 31 to 45, AoE red D/Q increased from 35 to 55.
•  
• AoE yellow S/C increased value from 28 to 45, AoE red S/C increased from 35 to 55.
•  
• AoE yellow Acu increased value from 21 to 45, AoE red Acu increased from 26 to 55.

Heretic, Reaver

• Leviathan style DD proc increased from 100 value to 125.

Mercenary, Blademaster

• Light Tank Slam 42 spec Shield anytime style stun reduced from 9 seconds to 5. Resulting immunity is now 25 seconds, down from 45.

Thane, Valkyrie

• Ragnarok style DD proc increased from 100 value to 125.

Occultist

This class will not replace Necromancer. You can become an Occultist by talking to the trainer as a fresh Necromancer character (level 1, RR 1l1).

Occultists will have the most bugs and likely require the most balancing attention out of these classes. Please report any bugs you find during Beta in the Occultist channel on Discord.

A few Eden specifics are:

• Shapechanges have a cooldown.
•  
• Shapechange stats are rebalanced.
•  
• The army FnF summon spell has been removed.

This is an initial version and will get many balance passes until Season 3 release.

Paladin

• Spec points increased from 2.2 to 2.3
•  
• Pulse power cost for Endurance and Magic Resists chants has been removed.

Vampiir

This is not an exact copy of a version that has been at live at any point in time, for example:

• Claw delves are reduced.

• No access to self-cure root.

Warlock

Misc

• Players will now receive experience from player kills even when /xp off is turned on.
•  
• Darkness Falls will now be available to all realms at all times.

In an effort to help level the playing field with Auto Hotkey and mouse/keyboard software, we are introducing an easy to use, built in Spells and Styles recorder! This new feature will only offer a subset of what is already possible with Auto Hotkey and mouse/keyboard software, however this will be a much more approachable way to bind multiple abilities to one action. This also will do away with the underlying delay between each client input, ensuring a more consistent experience.

• Use /recorder command in game to see a list of commands. You can create, rename, delete, or update icons on saved Recordings.

As an example, to create a new ability that fires all Paladin chants, you would do the following:

• Place the abilities you want to record somewhere on your quickbars
• Type /recorder start
• Click/press the abilities in order that you want them to fire (note: Delays and Loops are not allowed and are not supported with /recorder).
• Type /recorder save <name>, so in this case you could do /recorder save Chants
• Open your ability window. There will now be a list of abilities under "Recorder"
• Drag the new "Chants" ability to your quickbar.
• Click/press the "Chants" ability on your quickbar to fire off all of your chants in one press!

We understand that this topic is extremely controversial. The reality is that outside of delays and loops, it is nearly impossible to regulate a one key firing off multiple abilities, given how ubiquitous AHK and mouse/keyboard software is. This new feature will hopefully help to lessen the gap, create more fluid gameplay with less /qbinds and open up space on player's quickbars!

Future Eden Players,

We are so excited to share with you something that we feel gets at the very core of the Dark Age of Camelot experience; The understanding that when you first join a realm, you are entering into an unspoken commitment to join your realm mates in fighting against enemy forces and defending your realm from invaders. With that in mind we would like to announce the realm loyalty system for Eden!

REALM LOYALTY
Up until this point, there hasn't been much incentive to remain loyal to your realm. The new realm loyalty system looks to reward those who fight exclusively for their realm and create a sense of recognition and unity. The rewards extend beyond the individual. They are gifted with abilities that they can bestow upon their realm mates.


HOW IT WORKS
Building realm loyalty takes time and commitment. It favors those who consistently remain loyal to a single realm over a long period of time. It requires action. Fighting for your realm in the frontiers builds loyalty, but be careful, betraying your realm will have consequences.

0 to 100
The realm loyalty system is based on a 0 to 100 point scale. Points are accrued or lost based on daily action. There are milestone rewards such as 25 loyalty points to unlock a skin or 100 to unlock an ability; and then there are scaling rewards, for example simply having 18 loyalty points will give you 18% of the maximum reward.

Earning Points
- Obtain 500 rps, within a 24 hour period, in the frontiers, to earn 1 point for that realm. This will also decrease your loyalty to each of the other realms by -4.
- Capture a relic and earn an additional 1 point for that realm. You cannot earn more than 1 point per day from relic capping.
- Loyalty cannot go below 0.

Example: You earn 500 RPs on Mid in the frontiers, then you switch and earn 500 RPs on Hib in the frontiers. You were not very loyal that day!

500 RPs on Mid = +1 Mid, -4 Hib, -4 Alb
500 RPs on Hib = -4 Mid, +1 Hib, -4 Alb
Total that Day = -3 Mid, -3 Hib, -8 Alb

This means that it will take roughly 100 days of continuous support before achieving the max reward. A true testament to one’s loyalty. Players can still choose to switch realms, but if you help one realm in the frontiers, it will significantly reduce your loyalty on the opposing 2 realms!

The Rewards

• Milestone rewards at 25, 50, 75, 100 realm loyalty - including but not limited to
• Titles
• Realm cloak
• Reskins including a full realm specific armor reskin called "good" armor

• At 100 realm loyalty (max), access to a new skill which provides a 1 hour duration pbaoe buff to all realm mates within 1k range granting 100% xp/craft speed (both subject to a 200% cap). Useable once every 12 hours. Gather your fledgling realm mates for the bonus, or make a surprise visit to the crafters in your capitol city!
• Scaling XP bonus - max 50% (stacks when grouped up to 200%). This means 1 realm loyalty point = 0.5% xp. For example, your group has a total of 400 realm loyalty therefore has 200% bonus xp.
• Scaling crafting speed bonus - max 50%
• Scaling siege damage bonus - max 25%
• Scaling repair bonus - max 100%
• Scaling eden token bonus - max 25%
• Max realm loyalty characters will be denoted in the /who command.

But that's not all...

LEADERS OF THE REALM
Realm pride would mean nothing without the leaders who unite the masses. With this in mind, Eden will include rewards, recognition, and ways to progress for those who take on the heavy burden of leading battle groups.

The Rewards
Battlegroup leaders will be able to rally their troops by utilizing the /banner command. This will only be usable when the battlegroup has 16+ players in the bg.
The ability to /banner is unlocked after successfully leading a bg and taking 10+ keeps, 5+ Epic Dungeon kills, or 5+ Dragon kills with at least 16+ players.
There will be a separate leaderboard on the herald and stats tracked in game for battlegroup leaders that include the number of keep takes, tower takes, relic takes and defenses.
